Born in Budapest, Hungary,
he took his first cello lessons aged 6. He was admitted in the Conservatory
"Béla
Bartók" and finished his studies in Germany by receiving
his diploma in the "Nordwestdeutsche
Musikakademie" in Detmold under Marcio Carneiro. He then
moved to Barcelona and continued his studies with Lluís Claret,
gaining the 2nd prize of the "Concurs Germans Claret"
in 1988. He corently is cellist teacher in the Conservatories of
Lleida and Balaguer.
Intense activity in chamber music as solo cello in the "Orquestra
de Cámbra Catalana" and also collaborator with other
chamber orchestras as "Barcelona Sinfonietta", "Grupo
Enigma" and "Orquesta de Cámara del Auditorio
de Zaragoza". Is a founder member of the EuroQuartet Barcelona.
