Piotr Jeczmyk

Born in Cracovia, Poland, where he took violin lessons in the elementary music school of Ignacy Paderewski. At 15 he was admitted into the Conservatory Fryderyk Chopin. At 19 he entered the Superior Academy of Music directed by Krzysztof Penderecki and finished his studies in the "Nordwestdeutsche Musikakademie" in Detmold, Germany, with Lukas David. In 1984 he participated in the master classes of Ruggiero Ricci in Baden-Baden, Germany, on which occasion he played in the final concert as the prize-winner.


Concertino in the orchestra "Il tempo giusto" directed Dominique Roggen, acting all over Switzerland and doing several recordings.


Since 1989 in the orchestra of the "Gran Teatre del Liceu" in Barcelona, Spain. Is a founder member of the EuroQuartet Barcelona.
