Born in Rome, Italy, he took violin lessons in the "Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi" of Milan, Italy. He finished his studies at the "Liceo Musicale-Artístico" of the Conservatory and received his diploma for violin and quartet. He then was admitted into the "Musikhochschule" in Vienna, Austria, in the class of Eduard Melkus.

In Vienna, he cooperated with the renowned chamber orchestras "Capella Académica Wien" and "Wiener Bachsolisten". In Italy he worked with the "Orchestra del Teatro dell'Opera di Genova" and with the "Orchestra della Radiotelevisione di Roma".In 1986 master classes with Ruggiero Ricci and Igor Ozim.

Since 1992 in the orchestra of the "Gran Teatre del Liceu" in Barcelona. Is a founder member of the EuroQuartet Barcelona.
